Oil mist is coming from the exhaust port of the vacuum pump! What is the solution?

Guangdong Wordfik Vacuum Technology Co., Ltd. will explain to you what happened to the oil mist from the exhaust port of the vacuum pump?
After the rotary vane vacuum pump has been used for a certain period of time, due to the lack of maintenance work, there will be oily smoke at the exhaust port, and many customers do not know the reason. Hope it helps you.
1. The vacuum pump exhaust filter is a consumable material accessory, which plays the role of oil and gas separation in the vacuum pump, which can prevent the vacuum pump oil from being discharged from the vacuum pump body with the exhaust gas, and precipitate the filtered vacuum pump oil and return to the fuel tank. When the exhaust filter fails, the exhaust filter will not be able to filter, and the vacuum pump oil will be discharged with the exhaust. The specific manifestation is that there is white or blue oil smoke at the exhaust port. It is generally recommended that customers use it for 3-6 months and need to be replaced. In industries with serious pollution, the replacement time will be shortened.
2. The vacuum pump oil deposits carbon and turns black, like sludge. To replace the vacuum pump oil, remove the pump from the system and attach a clean square disc under the drain hole. Unscrew the filler plug and drain plug to drain the dirty oil. Start the motors 4~6 intermittently so that all the oil in each vacuum chamber is discharged. Then add 200~300CC of clean vacuum pump oil from each exhaust pipe. Start the motor intermittently and clean each vacuum chamber again. In this way, after 2 to 3 times of repeated cleaning, the cleaning oil is released, and the oil drain plug is screwed on. Add clean vacuum pump oil from the oil filling plug to the center of the sight window, and tighten the oil filling plug to prevent air leakage. Pay special attention to refueling: if you add too much oil, reduce the amount of oil added; the air intake should be avoided for a long time when the air is drawn.
